Its hard loosing our moms, Bill and I are so sorrry for your loss. I missed sitting and talking to Ida at the powow this year. we shared great stories of how it used to be living in Kettle Point. How plain things once were and how we lived on barely anything. We talked about how we ate rabbits, squirrels, fish and mesh mutt and head cheese..lol. We rembered when the black and white tvs came and when our families got the first welfare checks. How her , my mom and the cousins used to get together and play ball, swim and fish. its funny that they both have the same middle name Maxine. She is a awsome lady, with a beautiful spirit. I will remeber her every year at the powow. I could only imagine how things will be when Ida Maxine and Priscilla Maxine meet up in the spirit world. Giggles and chuckles and more all round.....

Paula and Jeff......so sorry to hear about Ida passing away. She was a wonderful, sweet lady and will be missed by all. When I first moved over here I remember her and I waiting for our turn to see Mike. We struck up a conversation and I considered her my friend from then on! She loved her grandson Jeff and he loved her, he would do anything for her. Will miss seeing her around!!
