It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Lynn Kohler announce her passing on Thursday, July 6, 2017. After a courageous 32 year battle with Cystic Fibrosis, this terrible disease has taken its toll. Although Jenn’s illness made her appear frail, there was no one tougher. She possessed strength and a determined spirit that was parallel to none. Much loved daughter of Joe and Carrie Manlongat and Hans Kohler. Cherished partner of Kevin Dionne. She will be forever remembered by her older brother Joshua (Jen) Kohler and her favourite “sissy” Jordan Manlongat. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, July 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).

My most sincere condolences to Carrie and the whole family from the Adult Cystic Fibrosis clinic at LHSC. Jennifer was a very strong and determined young woman who fought as long and hard as she could against this devastating disease but at the same time lived her life on her own terms. She will be missed. Carrie has been at her side throughout - we can see where Jenn got her inner strength from.

Ohhhhh Joe, Carrie and family
I have no words to express my heart felt sorrow when I learned this sad news a couple of days ago.
We just want you to know that we are thinking about you and yours, and that with the passage of time your feelings of loss will hopefully lessen.
Try to remember in those quiet moments when the tears start to flow that Jennifer is not suffering anymore after such a long struggle with a terrible disease.
She is at peace.
Take your family in your arms and hold them tight.
Share your precious memories of Jennifer with each other and smile.
Draw strength from your friends and family who love you!

My condolences on the passing of your wonderful daughter. She was strong in her fight and even though I only met her a couple of times she always had a smile. She lived life to the fullness and didn't let her illness define who she was.
