Gary was a good friend and so dedicated to the Union. Sorry that he missed more retired years. He was such a Dodge fan but still a friend who loved Nascar. We worked together for the betterment of local 800

Uncle 'G', as I called him, was a good man, indeed. My condolences to Aunt Bonnie, Shaun, Ryan, and Emma and well as friends and family. I will remember him with many fond memories like when he gave me my first set of hockey equipment complete with an awesome Chicago Blackhawks jersey! I remember his sports cars too. As a kid, I traveled with him, from Ottawa to Sarnia, sleeping on the floor behind the front seats (as we drove overnight) in his Corvette (I believe it was). Some funny stuff too, like when we were having bundt cake at my parents' place and laughing uncontrollably with him about it (inside joke, I suppose). "Ding-a-ling Danny" is what he called me as a kid but thankfully he stopped when I grew older, without even having to ask. But who knows? Maybe my girlfriend at the time asked him, LOL! He was the only one that has ever called me that and it never bothered me either. Anyhow, I could go on but would like to say how sorry I am to hear the very sad news and I will always miss my Uncle 'G'.

Bonnie and Family We are so sorry for your loss. I worked with Gary for many years. He enjoyed talking about his latest new car and what he was going to buy next. His great work on Local 800 and 848 was always appreciated by all at Shell and Basell.
