Peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at LHSC University Hospital, Marilyn Elaine (n. Bailey) Haney passed away at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Don. Loving mother of Linda (Bill) (Bella), Paul (Tracy), Mike (Kerri) and sister in law of Doug and Marlene Haney and Ted Hampton. Cherished grandmother of Rylynn and Rebecca. Dear sister of Joan (Dick) Williams, Tom (Marion) Bailey and Bonnie Bailey-Jones. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Beatrice Bailey and brother-in-law Cal Jones and sister in law Joan Hampton. Marilyn’s pride and joy was her grandchildren and in her spare time she loved biking, walking, feeding the birds, gardening and cheering on the Sarnia Sting. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12 noon with a memorial service to be held immediately following at 12 noon. A private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
