I met Nina for just a few weeks this fall while we shared a room at BWH. During that brief time, I was struck by her dignity, her compliant nature, and her wonderful sense of humour. She loved her family tremendously and I felt she was so fortunate to have devoted children who visited her faithfully and brought love to her days. I learned a lot from Nina, and admired her courage and spirit. Rest in peace, Nina.

My son could never say "Gramma Nina" so called her "Monona", and Monona will be very missed in our household and many, many others. xoxo
