David “Dave” Clarence Stamos

Death Notice

Surrounded by his family at Toronto General Hospital on Thursday, February 8, 2018, David Clarence Stamos passed away at the age of 67. Loving father of Nikki (Donny Russell) Stamos, Miranda (Chris) Wright, and Chris (Shelby) Oldfield. Treasured Grandpa “Gramps” of Noah, Leo, Mia, Poet, and Carsen. Dear brother of Joyce (the late Bill) Prudom, Barbara Pasch, George (Gerrie) Stamos, Ron (Trudy) Stamos, and Linda (Jim) Sloan). Dave will be missed by his extended family, many friends, and his dog Lucy. He was an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to S.O.D.A. (cheques only when donating at the funeral home please).

Visitation

Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Service

A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to S.O.D.A. (cheques only when donating at the funeral home please).

    I worked with Dave during his tenure at Terra/CF! He was always able to brighten my day with his many jokes. My deepest sympathies to the family...he will be missed.

    I worked with Dave for a couple of years at CF. He was a great guy and always had a joke or two to make the day go by. Sad to hear about his passing, he will be missed.

    My condolences to Nikki,Donny and family.I sure will miss seeing him when he would come over for a visit with Poet and Leo. It was fun to watch.

    They broke the mold when Dave was born. He was one of a kind. Sadly, his 2nd life ended too soon, We will miss him.

    I m very sorry to hear about the passing of Dave.Dave was always so full of life and lived it to the fullest.He was a very good family man and adored his daughter Niki and all his beautiful grandchildren which he was so very proud of.My sincerest condolences to Niki and all your family for your loss.Though death divides fond memories still cling.Wayne Forbes
